I saw a Kia Amanti on the way to work today. Looked just like this. However, all the Kia badges had been replaced. What were they replaced with?
Mercedes badge on the hood, and on the trunk, and an E350 badge on the trunk. Yeah, Kia certainly stole some Mercedes (and Jaguar) design cues for this car, but didn’t have to take it this far. Even had the 4Matic badging on the trunk as well.

You say worst, I say best. That's easily among the funniest fake badgings ever.

Why do that? People know what it is, and those that dont are more impressed that it isnt what they thought. Im biased though since it was my first car purchase and I still get compliments (though the Stradas help a lot). Id put a BlueTEC badge on it though.

Didn’t they advertise this car with commercials saying “It’s not a Bentley... it’s not a Mercedes either” or something like that?

They may have. Wouldn’t surprise me.

This is the only car that you can put any badge on it, and someone will believe it.

I remember it being referred to as a “generic car” in some reviews, since it was such a mashup of Mercedes, Lincoln, and Jaguar styling cues and they did try to make the Kia badges not stand out on the exterior.
These things were basically tailor made for car insurance commercials.
